A bomb explosion occurred Friday afternoon at a mosque in Jambutu area of Jimeta, Adamawa State.
Jimeta, a suburb of Yola, the Adamawa State Capital experienced the explosion which specifically targeted the newly repainted mosque as worshipers were getting ready for prayers.
A health worker confirmed that staff of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have deposited at least 15 corpses in the mortuary while over 30 injured victims are being treated in the hospitals.
