Chelsea club doctor Eva Carneiro has finally left the club and is reportedly considering legal redress after her squabble with club manager Jose Mourinho in the opening game against Swansea.
Forty-two year old Carneiro's role was reduced after she and physiotherapist Jon Fearn entered the field of play to treat Eden Hazard during the 2-2 draw game -- a move that infuriated Mourinho.
The Chelsea manager later criticized Carneiro and Fearne in media interviews, saying they do not understand the game.
The Football Association (FA) started an investigation following a complaint that Mourinho used abusive language toward Carneiro.
Carneiro, who joined Chelsea in 2009, has not reported for duty since her reprimand, while Fearn has continued to work.
"News of Dr Eva Carneiro's departure from Chelsea FC makes me feel sadness and anger,'' FA board member Heather Rabbatts has expressed.
