Snoop Dogg was stopped by Police at Airport in Italy and guess what his offence was... He was carrying $422,000 in cash.

The 43 year old rapper was stopped by the Italian Police at an airport in Calabria, Italy, as he prepared to board a private plane headed for England and found the cash in his Louis Vuitton luggage.

His Italian lawyer, Andrea Parisi, said the Police seized $205,933 of the $422,000 according to Reuters .

Snoop Dogg, who has been touring Europe after releasing the album "Bush" earlier this year, will have to pay a fine

In the European Union, the maximum amount of undeclared cash one can take on board a plane is 10,000 euros ($10,986.00).

"We clarified everything from a legal point of view," Parisi said. "The money came from concerts he had performed around Europe. There was no crime; it was just an administrative infraction."

Last weekend, Snoop was arrested in Sweden on suspicion of using illegal drugs and was released after undergoing a sobriety test.
