| Roberts chewing off his fingertips |
A man has attempted to chew off the skin of his fingertips after he was arrested by the Police in Florida, in an attempt to make it difficult for officers to capture his fingerprint.
Kenzo Roberts, 20, was arrested after officers claimed they found him driving a stolen 2015 Mercedes. Following the arrest, video footage showed Roberts trying to rub and bite his fingertips in order to avoid the scan once they made it to the station.
Roberts, according to police sources started “chewing his skin and rubbing his hands against the cage” in order to make his fingerprints indiscernible. He was also in possession of a fraudulent ID, three fraudulent credit cards, and a firearm.

Roberts was charged with possession of a counterfeit credit card, grand theft auto, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of similitude of a driver’s license, driving with a suspended license, and giving false identification to law enforcement. Police added that Roberts was in the country illegally and the border patrol was alerted.
