According to the Federal Ministry of Power in its Power Statistics of Sunday, August 30, the country's transmitted power has hit 4,029.83MW

Energy transmission by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) last Sunday hit 4,029.83MW, with a lead by 32.02MW from the previous August 25 statistic according to the Ministry.

This was disclosed on the ministry's website on Monday, adding however, that the peak power generation dipped to 4,516.5MW on Sunday from its previous 4,810.7MW on August 25.

Energy generation reportedly rose to 4,117.73MW from the last record of 4,080.86MW.

The highest peak power generation in the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) was the 4,810.7 MW of August 25.

It is hoped that with a sustained incremental generation and more efficient transmission of power across the country, the energy woes of the nation will soon be a thing of the past.
