Popular rapper and producer, Jay Z has a new product, a champagne brand, hitting the market. The product however comes at a hefty price that may drop your jaw.
While it’s not the most expensive champagne in the world (we know about the diamond-encrusted Goût de Diamants designed by Alexander Amosu) it surely is pricey.
Last November, the rapper purchased the Armand de Brignac champagne brand, which was established in 1763, taking control of one of France’s oldest companies.
The champagne is expected to cost about $760, (that's N151,240) per bottle and it is estimated to be able to fill six decent-sized glasses.
Punch the figures into a calculator and do the maths, $760 divided by 6 and you get approximately $126 per glass which when converted to Naira is about N25,000.
The brand will begin delivery of its first new products in October and we say congratulations to Shawn Corey Carter aka Jay Z.
