Former Secretary to the Federal Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, whose recent abduction has generated a lot of criticism has been released by his captors.

He was reportedly abducted on his farm in Ondo State on Monday around 1pm by Fulani herdsmen.

His abductors had demanded a N100 million ransom which was later reduced to N90 million. His family was said to have offered N2 million which the kidnappers out-rightly rejected.

Details surrounding his release have however not emerged but the former presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democracy/All Nigeria Peoples Party, has returned home safely to reunite with his family.
