Bobby Brown finally breaks his silence, says "Krissy was and is an angel"

Bobby Brown has finally broken his silence in a statement on Monday about the death of daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

“Krissy was and is an angel" he said in the statement released through his lawyer. "I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”

Bobbi Kristina, the 22-year-old daughter of Brown and late singer Whitney Houston, died Sunday in an Atlanta-area hospice, nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her home on Jan 31. 

She never fully regained consciousness and had remained in the hospital and in hospice care since then on life support. 

"She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.” her family had said in a statement on Sunday
