In another move to strengthen the coordination and establishment of the multi-national joint taskforce (MJTF) among affected countries and to ensure Boko Haram insurgency is quashed, President Muhammadu Buhari will on Wednesday embark on a two-day visit to Cameroon.
President Buhari is expected to hold talks with his Cameroonian counterpart Paul Biya and other Senior officials of the government
The All Progressives Congress Party (APC) governors to join him include Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa, Samuel Ortom of Benue and Kashim Shetimma of Borno state.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said that "Talks between President Buhari and his Cameroonian counterpart are expected to focus on the full activation and deployment of the Multinational Joint Task Force against Boko Haram,"
The President is also expected to visit Benin on Saturday for talks with President Boni Yayi about the Boko Haram insurgency.
