The IGP in a meeting with Security Managers of companies using SPY Police for their internal security, said that the new directive must be adhered to on or before 1st January, 2016.
According to the IGP, this measure is part of his administration's
renewed strategy to fight crime and is aimed at curtailing the activities of criminals who disguise in police uniform to perpetuate their nefarious activities.The IGP however approved the use of a newly designed grey and black trouser as the new uniform to be used by SPY police officers nationwide.
