Cristiano Ronaldo, 30, has revealed that his greatest fear is dying at a young age.
He told Spain's Libero magazine "The people around me always spur me on. They are a source of good vibes and positive energy, and that's the most important thing for me.
"My greatest fear is dying young, I don't want to die young. I want to die an old man, at 80 or 90 years old.
Ronaldo said he always tries to be the best, "year in, year out, and train hard to push myself to the max.
"In the last 8, 9 or 10 years I think that has worked pretty well for me, so I'll try to go on doing the same." he said.
He however said this doesn't stop him from enjoying the moment and of course his favourite game of football.
"I try to enjoy the moment. I like playing football, and I want the fans to enjoy it as much as I do." Ronaldo said.
