Pedro, 28 has requested to leave Barcelona club secretary Robert Fernandez has revealed.
He has a £22 million (€30 million) release clause in his contract at the Nou Camp and Barcelona are expecting nothing less than that.
While speaking to TV3, hours before Pedro scored in the UEFA Super Cup, Fernandez said "Pedro asked us for the transfer, we are not going to accept less than €30 million for him, it's not negotiable."
Pedro who had a heroic performance at Tuesday's Super Cup against Sevilla, coming on when extra time began and scoring in the 115th minute was however asked if he wanted to leave, "The answer is no" he replied, "but it's complicated for many things."
"It's not for money, as has been said -- which is another lack of respect. It's a question of continuity, of minutes. I'm an ambitious player. Stay or go, I will always be of this team.
Pedro however claimed he didn't have talks about leaving Nou Camp with the sports director. "The sports director says I said I want out?" he said "He shouldn't say that. I barely talked with him. I talked with the president and others" ESPN FC reports.
The long-serving forward is a target for Louis van Gaal, who wants to sign "speed and creativity" to increase his attacking options after Angel Di Maria's move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
