AC Milan have confirmed that Italy international and Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has arrived for his medical ahead of his proposed return to the club on a season-long loan.
Milan confirmed on their official website that he arrived at the Clinica La Madonnina on Tuesday morning before moving on to the club's Milanello training facilities.
Balotelli, 25, has reportedly spent the last few days at his family home in Brescia and is willing to take a cut in his £90,000-a-week salary in order to ensure the move sails through ESPN FC reports.
According to the website, he is likely to take part in his first training session for the Rossoneri on Tuesday afternoon.
Balotelli scored only once for Liverpool in the Premier League last season following his £16 million move to Anfield.
Liverpool left him out of their squad on Monday night's 0-0 draw at Arsenal.
