The Chief Security Officer (CSO) to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Gordon Obua has said that he is hale and hearty.
Mr Obua, who was reported to have been in custody of the Department of State Service, and denied access to his medication was brought in to address the media in Abuja on his state of health.
He said that he was alive and well, adding that nothing life-threatning was happening to him. Obua assured members of his family and the general public that he was hale and hearty.
Although he was not allowed to take questions from journalists, he added that he still remained a member of the Department of State Service (DSS) and has not been retired as rumoured.
Obua said he was taken to the DSS custody to give account of his stewardship as the Chief Security Officer to former President Goodluck Jonathan
He emphasized that "DSS is a responsible organisation and I am sure that nothing adverse will happen to me once it is ascertained that I did nothing wrong”,
