A female suicide bomber has reportedly detonated a bomb at the entrance of the Sunday market in Damaturu, Yobe state.
According to The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), 14 people have been confirmed dead and 47 injured as at the time of this report.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred at around 9.30 a.m.
Security operatives have arrived at the scene of the explosion including the military personnel, policemen, The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
