The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled a consultative meeting with leadership of the political parties for Saturday on the conduct of the 2015 general election.
INEC said the meeting was a follow up to Thursday’s meeting of the National Council of States (NCS).
The commission said the participants will include the chairmen and secretaries of all registered political parties, as well as the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) of INEC.
INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, had on Thursday, Feb. 5, briefed the National Council of States (NCS) on the preparedness of the commission to conduct the 2015 general elections.
