Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), recently revealed that more than 120 heads of state have shown interest in attending the inauguration of Nigeria's president-elect, Bola Tinubu, on May 29, 2023. Despite facing stiff opposition, Garba remains optimistic that the May 29th inauguration will push through
Garba made the announcement during an interview on Arise TV on Monday. According to him, the incoming President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima, will be inaugurated as planned, and nothing can stop it by the grace of God.
As an APC chieftain, Garba expressed disdain towards those attempting to thwart Tinubu's presidential bid by filing lawsuits. He described such actions as anti-democratic and warned that it would not stop Tinubu from becoming Nigeria's next president.
The interest expressed by more than 120 heads of state in attending Tinubu's inauguration is a testament to the growing support and recognition that the president-elect is receiving globally. It is a significant milestone for Nigeria and a positive sign of what is to come under Tinubu's leadership.
