DSS moves former NSA Dasuki to EFCC Headquarters.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has moved the immediate National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki to the Headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) according to latest reports.

Dasuki, was picked up by the operatives of DSS on Tuesday after laying siege to his residence for about a month, restricting his movements.

The former NSA is being charged with illegal possession of firearms and money-laundering in relation to over $2bn arms purchase scandal. 

Dasuki had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail by a Federal High Court to enable him seek medical attention.

The prosecuting counsel at the last resumed hearing of the suit told the that a notice of appeal had been lodged at the Court of Appeal, challenging the court's judgment granting the former NSA bail.

The Federal High Court in Abuja will however sit on Thursday Dec 3, for the hearing of the motion filed by the Federal Government seeking to revocation of the bail granted Dasuki.
