The Borno State Command of Department of State Services (DSS) on Saturday morning arrested another suspected high profile Boko Haram terrorist who is among the 100 terrorists whose photographs were released and declared wanted by the Nigerian Army last month.
The suspected terrorist, Danladi Abdullahi, who is still being investigated, was apprehended at Moduganari area of Maiduguri metropolis and has been found to be suspect number 26 on the list of the wanted terrorists.
According to a statement by Army spokesperson Col. Sani K. Usman, "The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, personally wishes to commend the DSS, especially Borno State Command, for this singular act, resilience and continued support"
He also acknowledged the cooperation of the DSS in the fight against terrorism and insurgency, adding that the DSS has over time proven to be dependable partners in the quest for a secured Nigeria.
The Army spokesperson reiterated that the fight against terrorism is a collective responsibility, soliciting the support of the public and asking that all be more vigilant and security conscious.
