Ramires signs new contract with Chelsea.

Ramires has signed a new contract with Chelsea to remain with the side till 2019. 

The midfielder, who has already made 241 appearances for Chelsea, said he is very happy to sign a new contract with the club.

In a statement posted on Chelsea's official website, the midfielder said "My family and I are very happy here in London and in the past five years the club has lifted every major trophy. 

"I hope to be an important part of many more successes in the next four years."

The 28-year-old Brazilian signed for Chelsea from Benfica in the summer of 2010. He has a total of 33 Chelsea goals to his name and is one of the club’s longest-serving current players.
