Cameroon plans to repatriate 12,000 refugees, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says according to BBC reports.
According to the report, NEMA said 1,771 of the refugees have already been sent back.
The refugees are arriving through the Sahuda border post, and they are currently being screened by Nigeria's immigration and security officials, the statement said.
Cameroon has alleged that Boko Haram insurgents disguised as refugees enter the country from Nigeria to attack residents.
