A female suicide bomber travelling on a tricycle has blown herself up in Gamboru market in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The attack according to reports occurred around 6:30 am today, Friday as the sellers arrived in the market, early morning.
"The woman arrived on a taxi tricycle, as every woman grocer does. She blew herself up as soon as the tricycle stopped in the midst of other tricycles that were dropping traders off," Babakura Kolo, a vigilante helping to combat Boko Haram told AFP.
Gamboru market is known to be the second-largest in Maiduguri, capital of Borno state.
