President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived safely from Cameroon.

He arrived in the country via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja and was welcomed by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

The President had been on a two-day visit to Cameroon where he held talks with his Cameroonian counterpart Paul Biya and other Senior officials of the government.

"Talks between President Buhari and his Cameroonian counterpart are expected to focus on the full activation and
deployment of the Multinational Joint Task Force against Boko Haram," presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina had stated earlier in the week.

The President is also expected to visit Benin on Saturday for talks with President Boni Yayi about the Boko Haram insurgency.
