Jos gas explosion, President Buhari orders full investigation.

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the explosion that occurred in Jos, Plateau State over the weekend.

The incident, which led to the death of many people while several others were injured, was caused by  a chlorine gas explosion.

In a message of commiseration to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Plateau State, President Buhari said that an investigation into the incident was necessary to avoid a recurrence.

“The investigation should unravel the facts as to know
whether this was just an accident. Whatever is the case, we need to get to the bottom of this unfortunate and tragic incident,” the President said.

He prayed that the souls of those who lost their lives in the explosion would find peaceful repose and the Almighty Allah grant a quick recovery to those who were injured.
