
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will retain its cut off marks of 180 for University Candidate and 150 for non-Degree Awarding Institutions for the 2015/2016 Academic session.
This decision was reached at this year’s Combined Policy Meeting on admission to Degree, Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and National Innovation Diploma (NID).
The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde said the introduction of Computer Based Tests (CBT) had helped to address some of the challenges faced in conducting JAMB examination and called for support from stakeholders in order to sustain it.
Dr. John Nwaobiala, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, emphasized the need for all tertiary Institutions to comply with the academic calendar.
