The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the bombings that left scores dead and many injured in Maiduguri on Saturday and Sunday.
The party warned that those behind the continued killing of innocent people will not go unpunished. In a statement in Lagos on Monday by APC's National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party condoled with the families of those killed as well as the government and people of Borno State.
It prayed that God grant repose to the souls of the innocent citizens sent to their early graves, while wishing those who were injured a speedy recovery.
The party said "As we have said many times, nothing in the world justifies the killing of innocent men, women and children, and the cowards, who have continued to kill and maim must realize that they will not escape justice, no matter how long it takes,”
The party called for vigilance among the people of the state and the entire North-Eastern part of the country.
