The Senate President Bukola Saraki today appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja and pleaded not guilty to the 13-count charges leveled against him.
After the charges were read out to him, he pleaded not guilty to them all, after which the tribunal granted him bail on self-recognition, a move the prosecution counsel did not oppose.
The Tribunal adjourned the hearing to October 21.
The Senate President is facing a 13-count charge of alleged false declaration of assets.
