The FA are looking into a complaint from the member of the public alleging that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho used abusive or sexist language on team doctor Eva Carneiro.

In August, during a match against Swansea City, which ended in a draw, team doctor Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn had run on to the pitch to treat Eden Hazard.

According to reports, they were beckoned upon by the referee, but as tensions rose, Mourinho who felt displeased at the act was alleged to have used abusive language after the match.

Under rule E3, the FA is duty bound to investigate all reports of discrimination, which states that players and coaches can be penalized for using “offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures”.

Although the FA’s compliance department are studying video evidence, reports say that "it is unlikely to result in a prosecution."
