Chad has executed 10 members of the extremist Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram
The Boko Haram members were executed by firing squad on charges of terrorism, a day after they were sentenced according to security reports.
“They were shot this morning at the Massaguet firing range,” one of the sources said.
A 30 year old Cameroonian, Mahamat Moustapha, who was accused of masterminding a series of attacks on N’Djamena the Chadian capital was among those executed.
According to reports, more than 40 people were killed in the capital city attacks that occurred in June and July, prompting the President of Chad, Idriss Deby to introduce a new series of tough anti-terror laws.
