President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr. Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said the termination takes effect immediately. The reason for the termination was however not made known yet.
Mr. Akpobolokemi's first four-year tenure expired in October 2014 and he was immediately reappointed for another four-year tenure by the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan
