The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Friday raised the alarm on the activities of some impersonators on various social media platforms, trying to defraud members of the public, pretending to be him.
Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Habib Aruna, in a statement said some dubious characters were attempting to ride on his goodwill to dupe members of the public, particularly his associates.
He said reports from his associates reaching him, has confirmed that his identity is being used on different platforms, especially on social media by alleged fraudsters with intentions to defraud unsuspecting members of the public
The governor alleged that a faceless character, who currently operates with the e-mail: a_ambode@yahoo.com, had been going about soliciting CVs from his friends and acquaintances with a promise to

Ambode urged Nigerians to disregard any offer from these unscrupulous characters, calling on the public to report such fraudsters to the law enforcement agencies to ensure that those behind the dastardly act could be made to face the wrath of the law.
Ambode further assured the public that efforts would be made to apprehend those behind the cowardly act
