President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday visited and worshipped with members of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun state, Nigeria urging the church members to keep praying for the country ahead of the February 2015 elections.
President Jonathan pleaded for prayers for the country saying there was need for Nigerians to pray for the country as it nears the general elections.
The President noted that there were various predictions concerning the elections, but that he believes that God would take control of the situation.
Jonathan, who was in the church with some top members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, noted that without education, nothing much can be achieved by a society.
General overseer of the living faith church Bishop Oyedepo, asked the members of the church to pray for the President and for God to give him strength, courage and the wisdom to lead the country aright.
